Rusty Dawson

Coming from Borger, Texas, I bring a deep appreciation for small town faith, perseverance, and community into my counseling ministry. After serving two combat tours in the U.S. Army (2004–2009), I began formal counseling in 2017, later training at The Master’s University and earning a Master’s in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2023). I hold Level 2 certification with IRBC. I serve as an Elder at Redeemer Borger and am committed to the local church as God’s primary means of care and discipleship. I am married with a growing family and am passionate about helping people walk faithfully with Christ through the truth of God’s Word.
